She stared at him with a certain intensity. "I am completely aware of how things hunt, you telling me walking out into the dark night by myself is just the same as you walking into the city by yourself." She said turning from him and walking back towards the camp. Her long hair swaying back and forth as she walked away from him again. She set her things down and crouched by the little hare he had caught. "Let me see your K- bar so I can get this thing cooked up. You need to eat." she said facing away from him but with her hand extended out waiting for it to be placed in her hand.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
With a sigh he followed her back to Camp and handed her the ka-bar, then unwrapped the bandana full of berries. "You do too, besides, I ate a little bit before I found my way out here. And how far is this town we're thinking of?" His eyes seemed to harden over as he recalls his flight from a town, running from "Them." The train had stopped, and he had gone looking for food, but had only found a crowbar and them. Thats when his eyes flashed with a thought. the crowbar! He had dropped it not too far from here, he knew of it. maybe an hour or so walk back through the trees, if he could get to it, then at least they'd have more than a bat and a knife, which wasnt ideal against "them." He jumped to his feet, "I just remembered, I dropped something about an hours walk from here. I'll be back in a couple of hours, I promise, just wait here." With that he ran off into the trees. He knew that it would probably be best to wait till morning but they were desperate, and if they were to go into the city they would be needing it. I mean, it wasnt just a weapon, it was a tool. He ran silently through the trees, hoping she wouldnt be too upset with his abrupt exit. But he knew that she'd wait, or that she would come looking for him after some time. She was just as desperate for his company as he was for hers.

She turned around after a minute not having heard one thing he had said. He was gone. She looked around as she stood up. listening for 'their' sounds. but it was just the usual night sounds. Crickets and the wind. She wasn't scared for herself she was wondering if he was playing some sort of trick. Had he been mad and left. Even if she wanted to look for him it would be suicide. She would wander off into the darkness and become lost. She had no choice but to wait until morning to search for him, or what may be left of him. She found herself becoming tired again. This was bad... She looked around and came up with an idea. She grabbed the seat belt straps and the bat and hauled herself up into a tree close to the fire. Making her way up into a branch far up enough out of reach and somewhat out of sight. She straddled the branch and began tying loops around the tree branch after making four loops. She tied the bat and the excess of onto another branch for safe keeping. She hung from the branch and slowly shimmied herself into her makeshift hammock. She hoped that the knots would not come untied. She rested her head back on a loop and stared up at the sky feeling the slight heat on her back. It wasn't cold, but there was a bit of a gentle breeze.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
After about an hour of walking he finally found what he was looking for. He ran over and uncovered the crowbar from the loose earth and picked it up with a sigh. He gripped it and looked about unsure if any of "Them" were about. He turned and began his hour long treck back to camp, not breaking the pace of his jog. He found himself back at camp and Genevieve was no where to be seen. He called out softly into the night, hoping that none of "They" were around, "Genevieve?" he was worried that she had decided to leave him behind. He felt like panicking but kept his cool, walking about the camp, looking for any signs of her being here. It was dark, and if he wanted to find her, He would have to wait till morning. He got lucky with the crowbar, but luck isnt too loose with the same person.

Hearing her name she looked down. She very quietly made her way back up onto the branch and watched him. Studying how he would act when she wasn't around. She had left her bag by the fire. She watched in silence.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
He noted the bag and walked over carefully, picking it up he slung it over his shoulder and wandered around carefully looking for signs of her still being here. Unfortunately it was too dark for him to see anything so he muttered a couple of curses before climbing into a tree. He was pissed that she dissapeared, and had the ka-bar with her too. He was lucky enough to stumble across it, and he needed it if he was going to survive on his own. He begun carefully breaking branches and made acrude platform to sleep on for the night

She silently made her way down the tree, carrying all of the things she had brought up. In and effort for a reason why she was gone she picked up a few piece of wood and tied the wood together with the seat belts making it easier to carry. She made her way back to the campfire and noisily dropped the wood onto the floor, As she was untying the wood she made she to put on a show. "What was he thinking? He must know I would worry. And he left me here by myself. what if something happened to me?" tears came to her eyes and she stopped for a minute to wipe her eyes. "Why?" she said holding her face in her hands crouched by the wood she had just brought.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
He dropped out of the tree and walked over to her, relief all over his face. He grabbed her roughly and pulled her into a hug, clearly upset that she had dissapeared on him. "Damn it, I thought you left!" He hugged her a bit tighter and let out a sigh, shaking a little.

She wrapped her arms around him, accepting his ever warm embrace. She was shivering while all she had on was a sports bra and underwear. She pressed her cold skin against his warm body and pressed her face onto his chest. She held onto him not wanting to let go. She was very mad at him, but she would get over it. She was shaking from the cold and wanted desperately for him to warm her up. Her fingers grasped his shirt as best they could. "D-d-don't leave m-m-m-eee again..." She studdered.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
He took his coat off and draped it around here, sitting on the ground he pulled her into his lap, holding her tightly, sharing his body heat with her. "I know we should sleep in the trees but its too cold, I dont want you getting sick on me" However, he secretly wanted to hold her. She was beautiful, and he still craved the companionship between another human. Aldrid wasnt sure if she was comfortable with it, but He couldnt seem to let her go. she was cold and she needed his warmth though, which made him a bit happy.

She cuddled against him. She hadn't felt this comfortable with someone ever. She turned her head and without hesitation she leaned in and gently pressed her lips against his. She never thought she would kiss another man, especially so soon...

Golden eyes watched the two, tracking the movements. Nares pulled air from the atmosphere and tested it, deciphering the intricate codes in which it hid its secrets. Hands nearly two feet long gripped rough bark branches, a rough thick trunk. A body that stretched over eight feet lay flat against the bark, covered in a thick black paste, made from animal fat and charcole, masking his pale grey flesh, matting his thin layer of grey hair. A small tail lay flat against its hosts body, not daring to move. The creature had been sleeping like this, one eye opened, before the strangers had come. It now was interested, not having eaten yesterday. It had shoved a beaver carcass under a log in a small clear stream a few yards back, letting it tenderize. He now watched with both eyes open, head only having to tilt slightly to the left. He was roughly behind them, a little to the left. He watched and waited, biding his time. He would see if the injured one survived, and if the taller one ate it. If not, the injured one was fair game. He listened to their words, making some of them in his own head, linking them with memories of his past. His eyes watched, ever watched, waiting...
He was suprised at the sudden kiss, and gently kissed her back. He marveled at the softness of her lips against his. Aldrid brought his hand up and gently placed it on the back of her head, gently pushing against her. His heart raced at the contact between the two and stopped, suddenly remembering she was dressed only in a bra and panties. Blushing he pushed her away. "S-sorry," It was the first time he couldnt look someone strait in the eye.

The kiss had invigorated her and left an opening that needed to be sufficed. She turned herself and sat on her knees in between his legs. She reached with both hands and gently turned his face. The jacket slid off her shoulders and she leaned in kissing him again. She moved one arm down to his shoulders and kept one hand on his face. Locking him in the kiss, forcing him to push past his memories of his past.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
His skin flushed with heat and he felt his hormones begin to take over. He gently places his hands on her hips and pulled her closer to him. He closed his eyes, enjoying the moment, His mind was in turmoil. He gently ran a hand up her soft skin, exploring her curves. He didnt dare touch any where near her breasts, afraid that he might offend her and kill the moment. He fidgeted a bit as he felt himself growing hard, again, hoping that she wouldnt find out and break the kiss.

She lifted her left leg and placed it on the outside of his legs, and then did the same with her right. She used her mouth to guide him onto his back, gently pushing on him letting him know to lean back. Her legs straddled him and her body laid against his. Her mouth on his mouth, her chest on his chest, her groin against his. She could feel his hardening and her faced flushed slightly but she continued kissing him. Her hand running through his hair.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
His grip on Genevieve's hips tightened a bit as he layed back on the ground, pulling her along with him. He felt the contact of her body and instinctively pushes his hips against hers. He had never felt this out of control before, and couldnt help it. He enjoyed the contact of their skin, and indulged a bit when his hand came up, gently stroking her back, and brushed against the strap of her bra. He wanted to undo it so badly, wanted to remove his pants and... He blushed deeply, pulling himself away from those thoughts. It was marvelous enough that they had gone this far, but he didnt want to push his luck. instead he brought his hand up further, and placed it on the back of her head, kissing her deeply. He felt her lips part a bit, and gently poked his tounge inside, listening to his body rather than his mind.

An airy moan escaped her lips as he ran his hand up her back. She swirled her tongue around his and relinquished his mouth and moved hers to his neck, making sure to keep her wound as far from his face as possible. She gently grazed her teeth across his neck then thought otherwise, hoping he hadn't thought she was crazed and trying to bite him. She moved her mouth back to his and gently kissed him before she sat up running her hands down his chest. She began a gyrating motion with her hips, rubbing herself against him. She had to be crazy, she was moving far to fast. She had only had sex with one person her entire life, and it had taken three years of them dating before they had even thought of having sex. What was this she was feeling? Was this her primal instincts driving her to survive, or was this something else? Her head was screaming this was a bad idea, but her body was telling her otherwise. She was incredibly aroused, and wanted it sufficed. Her nipples were hardened against her bra and she knew he could see it. She had hoped the first time he had touched her bra that he would have stripped her of it. She wanted to be naked, with him. She placed her hands on his chest helping her balance herself while she rocked against him, it in turned pushed her breasts together. She moaned and her head lolled back. She could feel the heat on her face, and all she could think about was how much more she wanted.

tonight was a night where Aldrid had never been so unprepared, or at a loss for words. Feeling her body move against his, Aldrid was suddenly filled with ecstacy. He knew, now, that it didnt matter, she wanted it as bad as he did. He watched her in amazement as she pressed her breasts together. feeling her hips against his he gasped slightly. Sitting up, he grabbed her and rolled over, pinning her to the ground. He reached down and pulled her bra up over her breasts, seeing her nipples hard. trembling slightly he leaned over and gently flicked his tounge against her hard nipple, and shuddered in pleasure. He felt his penis pushing against his pants and it was painful. His tounge roamed over her breast a bit before he placed his lips over it and sucked on it gently. His other hand went down to her groin and began to slowly drift across the fabric of her panties, running a track along her clit. He didnt know how he new what he was doing, but it seemed all to natural. His body flushed with another intense heat, and he shuddered slightly. Aldrid had never known this kind of pleasure, and the hand stroking her stopped, and undid the zipper to his pants, a very small wet spot forming where the tip strained against his boxers. His body screamed at him, knowing what he had wanted to do, but he continued to deny himself. He left her nipple and crushed his lips against hers again, pushing his tounge into her mouth, trying to pull his attention away from what he was doing below.

He watched the wounded one take the larger one to the ground. He tilted his head, squinting at them. It looked like it was eating the other, and this interested him. If he waited until the injured one killed the larger one, then he could scare it away and have the meat for himself. If the larger one turned the tables, then he would only have to put up a little more of a fight. He began to descend slowly, so much so that his muscles creaked in protest. He was untraceable as he descended from his perch. Slowly, on all fours he approached them, feet built for stealth, black against the deep night. He waited until what he fealt was the right moment, and closed the distance between the entwined creatures and himself. As he approached, his shadow reached behind him, between his legs, and into the night. His eyes were slits, and there for only noticeable from the two feet that separated them. He opened his eyes all the way, looking straight at the female, his flattened, narrow skull level with hers.
" Good Evening." [for a sample of what his voice sounds like go to his profile]

Her eyes took a second to focus on the creature invading their space. But when she realized what she was starring at was something from a horror movie she reached behind herself and slid the K-bar onto Aldrid's hand just out of sight of the creature, then she moved her hand and grabbed the baseball bat and stood up. Her adrenaline was fiercely pumping as she readied the bat. She was not going to run. She was going to make sure this thing couldn't talk. "What do you want?" She asked, as if asking him what he was would offend him.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
Aldrid felt his hand automatically curl around the handle of the ka-bar and slowly rose to his feet, the ka-bar was tilted so that it could be hidden by his body, but able for easy use. He looked at the strange being that was so close to him. It unnerved him that it had some how managed to get this close to him, and he mentally cursed his vulnirability. He watched the creatures reactions to Genevieve's words, and understood the moment he locked eyes with it, it was a predator. It was one of "Them". Aldrid made no sudden move for the creature, he said softly to it, hoping that since it hadnt attacked and only simply talked that its being here can be dealt with diplomacy. "Is there something we can help you with?" His voice was calm, but his body screamed. This was a predator, and we the prey. He moved a bit closer to Genevieve, making himself more of a target for this thing. It is probably stronger than him, judging by its size, but Aldrid wasnt someone to be underestimated. He could fight this thing better than she could should it come down to it, and maybe she could finish it off if he failed. He cleared his throat a bit nervously, his adam's apple bobbing in his throat, "We dont have anything we can really offer you, but it would be nice to know why you would aproach us."

He rose to most of his standing height, a little over seven feet, as if to stretch himself out, and cracked the vertebra in his neck. When he stood still, he disappeared into the gloom. All except his eyes, a bright, liquid gold. He took a step sideways, his body flowing with a lupine grace. He sidestepped Aldrid, never coming within his guard, but keeping the creature within his. Within five feet of his chest, in a circular radius, was death. He kept his arms only slightly raised. as he circled them, he examined them, every movement latent power, restrained ferocity. He walked calmly in a cicrle around them, his eyes drinking in every detail. He scoped out the ground beyong them as he circled, noting positions of tools, clothes. He crouched, and began to snuffle around, walking away from them at an angle, to keep them always in his sight. He found the rabbit, and sniffed it, never taking his haunting golden eyes off of them. He took it into his mouth, and crunched it down. Looking from them to the woods he stood, reaching his full eight feet. He moved over to them, and tilted out a hand covered lightly in blood. He spoke, the rumble of his voice like the heave of the churning earth.
" The Lions share, Food, food for...passage. These, these are my woods, my...what is word, Home. This is my home, and you will be treated as... word is like...Visitors. Water, Food, all here is mine. Ask, and you shall receive. Give, and you shall receive. Once a Month, Two deer, or, another of your kind, what do you call it. Ah, rent. This time, i accept Rabbit, but if i wish more, i shall take. Stay or go, your choice." He looked to them, a totaly serious glint to his eye. Blinking, he seemed to consider something.
" For additional meat monthly, i will be, urrrrrrgh, word is sheild, Guardian. Guardian of this forest, of you. Call name for help, call, Percival."
Post by Genevieve Locklie on Sept 14, 2011 0:39:49 GMT -5
"We will accept The Rent charge Percival, and thank you. If you need anything just ask. My name is Genevieve." She said smiling. It was a genuine smile. "Would you like some water as well, or would you like me to cook the rabbit?" She asked. She was not sure why she was being so accepting of the creature and was hoping that Aldrid would not ruin the Creatures sincerity. He had let them off with their lives, and could have easily destroyed them if he had wished it so. She dropped the bat at her feet to show him no harm.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
Aldrid still gripped the knife tightly. Why was this creature so eager to help them? if it wanted to so badly, it could easily kill either one. and two deer a month, it waas reasonable except that animals grew wise, to hunting patterns especially. If they killed too many of them in such quick succession, it wouldnt be long before their habbits changed and they learned to avoid this area. He would have to talk to Genevieve about relocating once Percival, as the thing had called himself was gone. Aldrid gave a nod in agreement to the creature and slipped the knife into his belt before relaxing his stance. It would not kill them tonight, this he was sure. "I'm Aldrid," He said simply. His eyes never left the creatures at it continued to bore into them, it was, as Aldrid thought much bigger than he originally anticipated. But an ally like him could be of use, being as big and silent as he is, he is also powerful. Percival is the perfect hunter, though he must have some weakness. If he's accustomed to the dark, then Aldrid concluded he must not like brightlights too much.

He looked to the male, he was still tense, still in battle mode. He rose to his full height, eight and a half feet tall, able to look straight down his deep black chest at the human. He walked up to the human male, stepping within his small guard. He held up a hand, easily able to cover the humans whole face. He flexed it, illustrating the two inch claws that rested at the tip of each thin finger. He scoweled at him, a fearsome sight, as his nearly human eyebrows drew, and his lips began to curl back. He stopped them half way, and drew back, once again stoic.
" Watch your ass, little boy. Or ill have it between my teeth faster than you can blink." Threats seemed to come easier to him than regular speech. Brazenly, he looked to Genevieve and nodded, turning his back to the little human male. He walked away, ignoring the offer for anything else. His shape dissappeared into the gloom, but two eyes could be seen momentarily, followed by two words, groweled even in his deep voice.

Once the creature was out of sight she couldn't help but collide her body with Aldrid's. She had been terrified the whole time but had made sure to not show it. She was shaking, and not from the cold but from the sudden abrupt change in the atmosphere. Where there was still a lingering ecstacy. "I think it is wise to pay him, we could keep him fed, and he could protect us." was all she said into his chest.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
He hugged her tightly, and began getting hard again. He mentally cursed his hormones, but kissed the top of her head. "About that, there is an issue of feeding him, If we kill two deer a month, like he asks, then there is the problem that the animals will learn our hunting habbits and avoid this area. Even if we switch it up, it will become more difficult to track them down." Aldrid felt her trembling and rubbed her back, again, brushing against her bra strap. However he was a bit more confident when he gently tilted her chin up and pressed his lips against hers. again closing his eyes as he hardened, pressing against his boxers. He couldnt help what his body did, and to deny contact with her was even more excruciating.

She accepted this kiss moved her hand to his neck. She stepped back and began bending her knees luring him to the ground. She reached back and undid her bra and it slipped of to the floor. She laid on her back, her breasts completely revealed. Only the Underwear remains. "Let us talk about it in the morning when I can think more clearly." She said her voice full of arousal. She motioned with her finger for him to join her as she sensually bit her lip.
"My mother always said to wait at least Five years before trying a new drug in case they found that it had bad side effects..."
He couldnt stop himself. He knew there was no point in trying to resist. He dropped to the ground, his hands on either side of her head, growing to the point where it hurt again. His penis throbbed a bit in anticipation as he leaned over and kissed Genevieve abit roughly. He brought himself lower to her, resting on his elbows, his tounge explored her mouth as he shifted a bit, his hips pressing tightly against hers, rubbing slowly. The small wet spot on his boxers grew, as the pre-cum started to pump out of the tip, ready to lubricate the shaft, but only making a mess on his boxers. He groaned slightly, his chest pressing against hers, his hands coming in closer. his right hand ran up and down her ribs, exploring her soft skin. His body felt like a live wire, ecstacy burned through his body as his heart rate quickened. His left hand slid under her neck, lifting her head a bit, deepening the kiss. He couldnt stop the motion of his hips as he continued to rub his hard penis inside his boxers against her panties.
