Appearance:
Nathaniel is a rugged Marine through and through. He has a well sculpted body, and it isn’t from hitting the gym every day. His 17+ year service for his country cut him and made him every bit of the man he is today. His eyes are what the ladies always called “Sexy blue”. Deep and entrancing.
His jaw line is sharp and covered in a beard. His lips are thin, but just full enough. His nose is just ever so slightly crooked, from it being broken in Iraq. His hair is rather long for him as he is used to it being buzzed. He would normally prefer to be clean cut, but the ability to do so has been lost. He is what the ladies called “chiseled” and they very much enjoy his “V”. He is about six foot two inches tall. He weighs about 170lbs
He is wearing his standard issue Marine Corps combat utility uniform (MCCUU), black Cadillac’s(boots), and wool socks. He wears his digi pants, his skivvies are long gone after he ripped them hopping over a chain link fence. He has his olive drab t-shirt on underneath his uniform top. He traded his hat and his empty canteen for a protein bar. He has his ruck sack with him with various items in it.

Personal Possessions:
Ruck Sack which contains:
Simple mess gear, a bowl/cup fork/spoon/knife combo, also has a rolled up and strapped on wool blanket. Has an empty container that contained iodine tablets to purify water. Has a box of elbow macaroni that is opened, only missing a cup. Has a plastic baggy that is empty, that he has been using to carry water(it is empty spare a few drops).
He has his utility belt on, and the pouches are empty, but his standard issue k-bar is still in its sheath on his hip. Never leave home without it.

Personality:
Nate has a way with words with most any person. Years of getting in trouble doing stupid shit in the military helped shape his charisma. The Marine Corp taught him how to be a gentleman. And he is definitely an advocate for women’s rights. He has very strong leadership skills. He is an E-8 First Sergeant in the Marine Corp. He is very calm and collected and is hardened battle ready.
Being a First Sergeant taught him many things, he prefers to work in groups to help evenly distribute the weight of orders. He has learned how to medically aid injured soldiers and has had to do so. He is highly intellectual and has a love for history. He has a tendency to be slightly off around new people that aren’t a part of the Corp, the Corp is his life and he has a hard time shying away from it. He doesn’t consider himself a religious person, more philosophical. He finds being alone uncomfortable.
He is Six foot two inches tall and about 170 lbs, he has been known to intimidate. He hardly has ever had to use force. But he has never been known to lose a fight. He is well respected in his group and truly has a sense of honor. He would gladly give his own life for any of his soldiers. He has been called brave and courageous, he just considers it suicidal. The horrors of war have started to take his toll on him. He’s sure he has PTSD but would never admit it for fear they’d discharge him. He keeps his thoughts private and doesn’t like to discuss his feelings.

(I honestly haven't decided, I put him as a Tier 1. I will probably leave him this way, let me know what you think. I kinda would like him to survive a while, though I know that it is sorta out of my hands. I'm hoping he can help build up the camp and maybe kill some animals for food, or people for Percy)

History:
Most of his childhood was pretty good, he was groomed even from a young age for his Corp Training. His father was a General in the Corp and he was trained to follow in his footsteps. In High School was where most of his excitement in life started. He was in a school specifically designed to excel him in the Corp. He had several friends that shared the same bunk as him. His friends were closer than most people could imagine. They did things together that made them inseparable. When you shit, piss, eat, sleep, with five other guys, you undoubtedly have no boundaries than can be crossed in the relationship. They would get dressed around each other and nothing was ever thought of it. Except for Nate. Nate had noticed them, though he would never say that to anyone, no matter how close they were. All it would take is for the wrong person to hear and his ass would be beat. 
He was a well liked person and made  his way through the ranks rather quickly. Most of his life he has never been alone, there has always been someone close by. Except one day while out on a patrol, his squad had just entered the limits of a nearby town they patrolled. They began receiving fire from the buildings. The caravan they were in was four Humvees while some soldiers walked on foot. Nate had been one of those in the front when the fire fight broke out. They were not here to fight insurgents, he called a retreat to a better position so that they could defend. Shots were coming from all around them. He had ducked and covered behind a parked hatchback in the street. He couldn't make a clear break for it while his comrades retreated. He held his ground for sixteen hours until he could be extracted.
Those Sixteen hours were the worst moments in his life. He watched as the enemy took lives of the innocent. A woman had ran across the street with her young toddler in tow. He watched as the insurgents shot the woman in the head, her lifeless body collapsed to the street. The toddler left to cry to his mother. 
Nate couldn't watch, couldn't believe what he had seen. They know I am here, they must be trying to torture me. It was all he could do to try and rationalize what he was seeing. He had seen bodies blown apart, and heads blown off. He had seen a bunch of horrific things, but when the innocent were hurt, it killed him inside. He sat huddled against the back corner panel of the vehicle. He was under neath an over hang of a building. Shots continued sporadically. He listened to the child crying. He peaked his head out. He watched as the toddle tugged on his dead mothers dress. Then he watched as a man peaked his head out of the door way. He was talking to the boy trying to get him out of the street.
The boy didn't listen and the man made a break to grab for the boy. Right as he picked up the boy he watched as he too was shot in the head. He dropped the boy and collapsed. Nate felt sick. He turned his head away focusing on his breathing.
